It is sometimes hard to remember that not everyone knows about book world and the things that go on it. Just like any other world you may live in: mom world, pokemon world, knitting world, Roblox Land, Hunger Games, Netflix movie lists etc. We all have our own things and sometimes when we talk about them to people who don't know we become shocked at how they couldn't know about the show Homeland or that Pokemon cards art actually a thing again. This is the same thing with me for book world. Not everyone has heard of this concept of a blind date with a book!
Remember when you were little and you could find mystery bags at a flea market or garage sale? Maybe a carnival? Essentially it's like that! It is a mystery book that you can purchase and only have a few details about it before you unwrap it and indulge! It is a great way to read a book you may not of chosen yourself! And because you bought it, you are more likely to actually read it! (unless it was a gift, then I suppose you could regift it!)
Anyway, it is a super fun way to get into new books or curl up on the couch on a Friday night once the kids go to bed! Ha!
